A New Year Already!

Summer went by way to fast! I'd just like to welcome back returning members, and say hello to new ones! We have a great year planned. There is AAC (anotheranimecon.com) coming up later in October, a bunch of great Animes that we're going to watch, not to mention Movie Nights and bake sales!

Right now in club we're watching "Eden of the East" (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=10474) and are about 3/4 of the way done with it. I highly recommend this anime to everyone! A more detailed review will follow once we finish it.

Next Monday we will be having a bake sale, so stop by and get some cookies!

Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still

We just finished this in Club today, so I thought I should post something about it. I actually enjoyed this anime, though I agree with everyone else when I say "Explain Movie! Explain!"
Giant Robo eventually explained... IN THE LAST HALF OF THE LAST EPISODE! I honestly am not sure what to say about it, so I hope that neito will add to this post *hint hint*

Wow... 6 days left!

Wow! So only 6 full days until we leave for Anime Boston! I can't believe its so close! I hope everyone is thinking about getting packed. I, for one, cannot wait! This year is going to be so fun just looking at the preliminary schedule (http://www.animeboston.com/files/events/ab2010sched.pdf).

There are so many panels I can't wait to see. I hope everyone atleast checks out Will's 'Craziest Mecha Moments' panel, it was such a huge hit at AAC, I bet it will be even more packed at Anime Boston.
